Together 4 Huancane is a nonprofit foundation that seeks to unite people in a missionary spirit of solidarity, to create an efficient platform for seeking solutions to combat the poverty of the people served by the Catholic Prelature of Santiago Apostol of Huancane Peru.
We desire to be a bridge of human and economic resources to help our vulnerable and often excluded brothers and sisters in their integral human development. Through the organization of projects, human aid and mission trips in which people travel to Peru share their skills and educate others, we seek to spread hope for the future generations of the Prelature of Huancane. We recognize religious freedom as a basic human right and seek to promote its formation, access, and free exercise. We proclaim the dignity and worth of all human life without exceptions or limits and seek to assist its development.
The Non-Profit serves all ages, races and religion that seek assistance through the Prelature of Santiago Apostol of Huancane especially the vulnerable and those at the peripheries of society.
We especially value the importance of the native Peruivan people (The Aymara and Quechua peoples) who suffer greatly due to lack of quality education and formation (human and spiritual) and lack of health care. Within the population we serve, we recognize that children, women, and elderly are especially vulnerable and excluded and in need of projects that promote integral human development.
Together 4 Huancane organizing committee will be situated in North Carolina but its members and collaborators will be from all over the United States. The principal place we are serving is by assisting those assisted by the Prelature of Huancane in Peru.
The Aymara and Quechua communities of the Prelature of Huancane, Puno in the Southeast of Peru in the region of Puno face many basic obstacles to overcome the human and spiritual poverty in which they live. The projects that Together 4 Huancane will organize, promote, and fundraise will serve the local communities by giving them spaces, education, and tools to enrich and eradicate poverty from their lives.
